TEMP Part Time Accounting Clerk

IPG is looking for a part time TEMPORARY Accounting Clerk to work in our Irvine, CA office. This person will work 25-29 hours per week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Batch outgoing checks to back-up documents which includes invoices, check request and expense reports
  • Prepare and mail all outgoing payments and distribute checks to various departments
  • Scan and save checks to be paid, upload into 3rd party payment system and file copies of backup documentation
  • Endorse stamp incoming checks to be deposited
  • Scan & email various documents to managers
  • Search for back-up documentation requested by Accounts Payable
  • Weekly W9 filing and tracking
  • Record weekly credit card allocation reports submitted by IPG employees
  • Record automatic vendor payments into weekly reports
  • Submit home improvement reports to Managers for completion and collect completed reports for processing and payment. Follow up if necessary
  • Collect & print end of month reports, batch together with manager copies and verify deposit slips
  • Addition projects and tasks as determined by management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-2 years’ experience in accounting
  • A firm understanding of the Accounts Payable process(matching, batching, coding)
  • Extremely well organized with a high attention to detail
  • Ability work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Able to work 5 hours a day, Monday-Friday
  • High customer service orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to lift, pull, push or carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Excellent working knowledge Microsoft Office products
  • Quick-books experience is a PLUS
