Accounting Intern

IPG is seeking an Accounting Internship to work on a part time, temporary basis with the potential to become an integral part of our team down the road! We are a real estate investment firm in Irvine, CA that focuses on manufactured housing.

Responsibilities:
  • Batch checks to support back up
  • Stuff and mail all checks - distribute checks to various departments
  • Scan and save Avid checks in SharePoint. Upload batches into Avid, Staple back-up for filing
  • Endorsement stamp checks for deposit and create deposit slips (for bank runs)
  • Scan and email various documents to managers
  • Pull/search for back-up items requested
  • Projects as needed
  • Enter auto payments from bank account onto weekly report
  • Collect and print EOM reports (batch together) with manager copy and verify deposit slips are included monthly

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience or education in accounting OR current pursuit of an Accounting related degree
  • Able to work 10 hours per week. Schedule: 12:00-5:00pm, 2 days per week
  • Desire to grow with a corporate company
