Manager in Training - Rogue Lea

Investment Property Group is looking for a Manager in Training to join our growing team at our property in Grants Pass, OR!

You will work under one of our senior property managers and will be trained on everything that they do on a day to day basis. This program will develop you into a strong property manager so that we can transfer you to any of our open properties once you are fully trained.

This person must be willing to relocate to any of our many locations in CO, CA, AZ, UT, WA or OR
so please do not apply if you cannot commit to this type of position. We cannot guarantee an amount of time that you will be trained before we are able to transfer you - it will depend on the needs of the business. Real estate related experience is preferred but any sales experience would be beneficial!

PRIMARY DUTIES ANS RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under the direct supervision of the Community Manager, assist in all phases of property operations and to act as main point of contact in the absence of the Community Manager
• Maintain low delinquency rate by assisting in the timely collection of rents, related banking activities and documentation of all transactions
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors and coworkers
• Maintain accurate resident files including: deposits, lease applications/agreements, rent increases, late payments, collections, evictions, tenant move-ins and move-outs
• Demonstrate professionalism while acting in accordance with State and Federal laws and regulations
• Walk property and ensure that community safety and curb appeal is in accordance with company standards
• Ensure that all service requests and preventative maintenance work is done in a timely manner
• Reports accidents, potential insurance claims and emergency situations to the Regional Manager and the Human Resources Department
• Sell homes within the park

QUALIFICATIONS

• MUST be willing to relocate once training is complete - we DO NOT GUARANTEE to keep you in the same state you received training in
• All applicants MUST be local to the city they are applying for
• At least 1 year previous property management or sales experience REQUIRED (real estate license not required, but preferred)
• Career driven individual that displays passion and optimism for what they do
• Open to relocate to other areas or states to pursue growth opportunities within IPG
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to accomplishing daily responsibilities
• Previous history in providing a high level of customer service
• Ability to maintain professional and calm demeanor while managing difficult situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and perform basic mathematical functions
• Good computer skills with an understanding of Microsoft Office products
• High school diploma or general education degree
