Assistant Human Resources Manager-Corporate Headquarters

We are currently seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager to work for both of our sister companies, IPG and SAGE, in our corporate office headquarted in Irvine, CA. 

Summary/Objective:

The human resources Assistant Manager is responsible for the administrative support and support to the Human Resources Manager of day-to-day human resources operations.

Essential Job Duties
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, change reporting via online benefits software, prepare monthly invoices for payment and communicate benefits information to employees
• Prepare new hire paperwork & conduct new employee orientations
• Prepare personnel files and file as needed
• File Workers Comp claims, communicate with adjuster on specific claims, as needed
• Assist the HR Manager with any special projects
• Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
• Type letters and other correspondence as needed
• Respond to unemployment claims and hearings and/or any State Employment Claims.
• Review with HR Manager prior to sending any paperwork to the requesting agency.
• Respond to daily emails & correspondence
• Send required employment posters and make sure updates are sent out as needed
• Send out Sexual Harassment Training & Fair Housing Training information to all new employees within first 30 days of employment Requirements
• Good communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• 3-4 years general HR background
• Familiar with group benefits administration a plus
